The Vetera® WNV is a West Nile vaccine for horses that aids in the prevention of viremia and mortality caused by West Nile virus in horses. Killed virus.

The duration of immunity for the Vetera® West Nile vaccine is at least 12 months. This West Nile equine vaccine has also been shown to be effective against viremia, mortality, and neurologic clinical disease due to WNV.

The Vetera® WNV vaccine is safe for healthy horses 4 months of age or older, including pregnant mares.
Cautions: Keep out of reach of children and animals. For use in animals only. Do not mix with other products. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Storage: Store 2 to 8 °C. (35 to 46°F). Store out of direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
Contains Preservatives: Amphotericin B and gentamicin.
Dosage and Administration: Give 1 ml IM of Vetera West Nile Virus vaccine; repeat in 3-4 weeks using a different injection site. Revaccinate annually and prior to anticipated exposure with a single 1 ml IM dose.
For healthy horses 4 months of age and older. Safe for pregnant mares.
