Contains vaccine, diluent and disposable syringe.
How to administer Canine Spectra® 9?
Canine Spectra® 9 is an injectable vaccine. It should be given subcutaneously either behind the dog's neck or behind the front leg. Be sure to inject all of the contents of the syringe.
How often do you use Canine Spectra® 9?
All dogs should be given one dose, followed by a second dose two to three weeks later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
How long does Canine Spectra® 9 last?

How to know when Canine Spectra® 9 is not good?

Warning: Do not vaccinate pregnant animals. Only vaccinate healthy animals. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the product label. Although rare, severe allergic reactions (anaphylactoid) may occur that require immediate veterinary care. Antidote: Epinephrine.
Storage: Keep refrigerated and store out of direct sunlight at 35° - 45° F. Do not freeze.
Preservatives: Gentamicin and thimerosal added as preservatives.
Disposal: Burn containers and unused contents.
Important Note: Before injecting the vaccine, pull back slightly on the syringe plunger. If blood enters the syringe freely, choose another injection site. A recommended vaccination schedule should start at or about 6 weeks of age. The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity. Puppies should be revaccinated every two to three weeks until at least 16 weeks of age. All dogs over 12 weeks of age should initially receive one dose of Spectra 9® and a second dose two to three weeks later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
