Safe-Guard® Canine Dewormer treats and helps control tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. The dog-friendly flavor easily mixes into your dog's daily diet. This three-day treatment is effective for up to six months and is safe for dogs six weeks and older and those that are pregnant. Safe-Guard® dewormer for dogs is available in packs of three one-, two-, or four-gram pouches based on your dog's weight. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. Dogs over six months of age should be dewormed at least twice a year with Safe-Guard® Canine Dewormer. For puppies younger than six months, see the Safe-Guard® dog dewormer product label. Approximately 1% of dogs had vomiting associated with the use of this product.

To reach the correct daily dosage, you may need to combine two different packet sizes, depending on the weight of your dog.
Dog Weight vs Pouch/Pouches Size:
10 lb: 1 gram
11-20 lb: 2 grams
21-30 lb: 3 grams
31-40 lb: 4 grams
41-50 lb: 5 grams
51-60 lb: 6 grams
61-80 lb: 8 grams
Over 80 lb: Combine pouches to obtain recommended daily dosage.
Recommended Deworming Schedule: Schedule may vary depending on your climate and the activity of your dog, but as a general guideline weaned puppies (6-8 weeks of age) should be dewormed at 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age. Treat the dam at the same time as the puppies. Dogs over 6 months of age should be dewormed at least twice a year.
