Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension, 50mg, is a liquid dewormer used to treat:

• Roundworms 
• Hookworms
• Pinworms 
• Other strongyles

Pyrantel pamoate liquid is a well-known parasiticide and dewormer. It controls strongyles like blood worms, palisade worms, sclerotomes (red worms), pinworms, hookworms and roundworms. Pyrantel dewormer for dogs exclusively treats parasites in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract because it is not fully absorbed into the bloodstream.

Pyrantel dewormer treats intestinal worms in various species and humans. The dosage and deworming schedule differ between species — consult a veterinarian and the label before use.

The suspension paralyzes certain worms in the GI tract and allows them to pass in feces. Due to the worms' size, they may be visible in your dog’s excrement after treatment. Since pyrantel pamoate only treats select worms, a veterinarian may perform a fecal test before and after use to pinpoint parasite types.

This liquid suspension is highly palatable and can be given with or without food. It is easy to administer due to its pleasant taste. Doses may be singular or repeated as part of a veterinary deworming schedule.
