The HomeAgain^® TempScan^® Microchips are packaged in Bioglass and feature a Bio-Bond™ anti-migration cap, which helps ensure the chip stays in place and can be easily found after insertion.

Once it's been inserted, it can be read with a compatible microchip scanner/ reader like the HomeAgain^® Universal WorldScan™ Plus. It works with all ISO microchip readers often found at animal shelters or veterinarian offices. Each time a pet is scanned, the microchip also functions as a dog or cat temperature sensor. This integrated temperature biosensor measures subcutaneous temperature fluctuations at the location where the chip is inserted.
