Frontline® Plus for Dogs

Frontline^® Plus for dogs and puppies provides long-lasting protection against fleas, ticks and chewing lice for 30 days. It contains Fipronil and (S)-methoprene, two powerful ingredients for preventing infestations. Fipronil goes to work immediately to start killing adult fleas and ticks and (S)-methoprene, an Insect Growth Regular (IGR), attacks eggs and larvae breaking the flea and tick life cycle. Frontline^® Plus kills deer ticks (which may carry Lyme disease), brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, and lone star ticks and rapidly eliminates chewing lice. It also aids in the control of sarcoptic mange infestations. The waterproof formula stays active after swimming, bathing or grooming. Safe for breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs. For use on dogs eight weeks and older.

Storage:
Combustible. Do not store near heat or open flame. Store unused product in original container only.

Disposal
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal.

If partly filled, call your local solid waste agency or 1-800-CLEANUP for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
If empty, do not reuse this container. Place in trash of offer for recycling if available.

Directions for Use: Remove applicator by lifting and removing the plastic tab to expose foil backing. Then peel away the foil or use a scissors to open. To open the applicator, hold upright with foil side toward you and snap applicator tip. Remove the pet's collar, if wearing one. Part your pet's hair between the shoulder blades in an area that cannot be licked. Place the applicator tip just above the skin and squeeze. Apply the entire contents of the applicator in a single spot directly onto the animal's skin. Do not apply on top of hair coat. Avoid contact with treated area until dry. Wait 24 hours to allow solution to dry before bathing. Give each pet its own complete dose. Repeat every 30 days.

Precautions:
For external use only. Do not use on puppies under eight weeks of age. Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product. Pets may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist, or become more severe within a few days of application, consult a veterinarian immediately. If your pet has an unusual reaction to the initial application, consult a veterinarian before repeating treatment. Certain medications can interact with pesticides. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated, debilitated or aged animals.
